Valves often have some troublesome problems during use, such as the valve is not closed tightly or tightly, what should we do?

Under normal circumstances, if it is not tightly closed, first check to see if the valve is closed in place. If it has been closed in place, there is still leakage and cannot be sealed, then check the sealing surface. If the vice-sealing pair can be disassembled, then take it out for grinding and test again. Of course, if it is still not closed tightly, then it must be returned to the factory for repair or replacement of the valve, so as not to affect the normal use of the valve and accidents such as working conditions.

If the valve is not closed tightly, you should first find out where the problem is, and then solve it according to the corresponding method. There are several reasons why the valve is not closed tightly:

(1) There are impurities stuck on the sealing surface, and the debris is deposited at the bottom of the valve or between the valve disc and the valve seat;

(2) The valve stem thread is rusty and the valve cannot be turned;

(3) The sealing surface of the valve is damaged, causing the medium to leak;

(4) The valve stem and the valve disc are not well connected, so that the valve disc and the valve seat can not be tightly contacted.

The treatment method of the valve is not closed tightly:

1. There are impurities stuck to the valve sealing surface

Sometimes the valve is not tightly closed suddenly. It may be that there is an impurity stuck between the sealing surface of the valve. At this time, do not apply force to close the valve. You should open the valve slightly, and then try to close again. During the inspection, the quality of the medium should be kept clean.

2. Valve stem thread raw embroidery

For a valve that is usually open, when it is accidentally closed, because the thread of the valve stem has rusted, it may not be closed tightly. In this case, you can repeatedly open and close the valve several times, and at the same time knock the bottom of the valve body with a small hammer, the valve can be closed tightly without grinding and repairing the valve.

3. The valve sealing surface is damaged

In the case that the switch is still not closed tightly after many attempts, the sealing surface has been damaged and should be reported for repair; or if the sealing surface is damaged by corrosion or particle scratches in the medium, it should also be reported for repair.

4. The valve stem is not well connected to the valve disc

Lubricate the stem and stem nut frequently to ensure flexible opening and closing of the valve. There must be a formal maintenance plan.
